AVIATION FOUNDATIONS

Grades 5–6

Students discover how aviation brings STEM, teamwork, leadership, and decision-making together in the real world. Through engaging, hands-on experiences, students build curiosity, confidence, and an understanding of how pilots think, solve problems, and work together.

AIRCRAFT & FLIGHT

Grades 5–6

Students explore how airplanes fly, how pilots control aircraft, and how science and engineering work together to make safe flight possible.

WEATHER & DECISION-MAKING

Grades 5–6

Students discover how weather affects aviation and how pilots evaluate changing conditions, identify risks, and make thoughtful decisions.

NAVIGATION & AIRPORTS

Grades 5–6

Students explore how pilots navigate from place to place and how airports, runways, and aviation systems support safe flight operations.

CAPSTONE EXPERIENCE

Grades 5–6

Students bring together their aviation knowledge, teamwork, leadership, and decision-making skills in a culminating aviation experience.

    Explorer serves Grades 5–6. Navigator serves Grades 7–8. Advanced programs for Grades 9–12 are in development.
